We have heard that the ascend by foot takes about 4.5 hours. Not having the time - or the constitution for that matter - to climb an incline for the better half of the day, we decided to take the “Zahnradbahn”(Cogwheel Train) instead and leave the hiking experience for the ambitious. And there were many! The weather was great and the Trail seems to be quite the destination for swiss and tourists alike.

In Terms of comfort and speed, however, the “Zahnradbahn” is unmatched. Hop in, enjoy the view for about half an hour and hop out above the clouds. 10/10, Recommend.
